Field Engineer / Specialist

Due to planned increased activity WellCem is looking for experienced field engineers and specialists.

Job Description:
  • ·        Job Planning, execution and maintenance
  • ·        Preparing job report and analysis
  • ·        Customer presentations and follow-up
  • ·        At the well site: Oversees cementing/zone isolation type operations, mixing and pumping of required materials
  • ·         Participate the mentoring of junior personnel
 
To successful candidate will meet the following criteria:
  • ·        Technical School/College Degree in the areas of petroleum, chemical or geology
  • ·        Min 3-5 years field experience with cementing, pumping or as a mud engineer
  • ·        Good communication skills, cooperative attitude and team player
  • ·        Proficient in English – orally and written
  • ·        Willing to travel as required – world wide

Enhanced Casing Cementing

 Initially one would regard ThermaSet® as a product for P&A, to repair failed cement, fix loss circulation, etc.

Constant earth movement and temperature changes have always been bad news for cement, along with the long curing time. ThermaSet® was thought to be far too expensive to conquer the market for casing cementing. Recent test results show that on the contreary, we are just about there already.

Ageing Test Completed !

ThermaSet® is the only product to fully comply with the NORSOK standard, as a permanent well barrier material.

The results from SINTEF have been received with enthusiasm. They also inspire our research to develop a permanent solution for the storage of CO2 and H2S.
